![]() I banked a bunch of mastery farming skeleton fish on the way to 99) with the fishing cape yields 4-8 whales per catch (3000 or 6000 gold), had no 'material requirement' (like mining the ore to make bars to make javelins), and could just be done infinitely. ![]() 99 mastery in whales (which is not unreasonable to achieve - spend mastery in it because the 95% fishing skill mastery bonus is garbage anyways, so losing it is not a big deal. I tried magic trees/yew tree double cut farming with a cloud chasers insignia for more bird nests but it seemed meh and i never even 99'd woodcutting yet as a result, but it seemed a small step up from gold bars, even with the increased sale price mastery bonus.ĩ9 fishing is where i broke through to significant income. I lived off gold bars/gem gloves until combat level 99. I was super cheap and didnt realize how great gem gloves were and wasnt even using those for a long time. When I first started i took mining/smithing right away, which was fortunate, and selling silver, then gold bars kept me afloat. Since i jumped right in, I made some poor choices early on and took some skills that were not useful, so, my experience may be helpful. When i first started I just went straight to adventure mode where im currently at what appears to be 'mid game' (im at total level ~1350), where i have some level 99s and need to start working on drops/clearing content. I have access to summoning and potions as well as a decent amount of skills now (which is why unlocking prayer requires 50 million) and I figured that someone might know something that the wiki and my poor google skills were not finding. So while I am fine leaving the game to mine, refreshing the glove charges and selling gems and ores a few times a day, I can't help but feel that I am missing something obvious. The only other way that didn't require level 99 was with trees (farming nests) but that has been patched so it makes nowhere near as much money now and it barely gives enough seeds to keep the potion going too. The wiki points towards various ways to make money, but they all seem to be outdated (or at least not re-confirmed) and require level 99 in everything, which requires level 99 combat in adventure mode and I made the mistake of not unlocking prayers until now so it makes raising combat level a lot harder (I am at 76 for now). I mean, you can make some money through other means but for the large amounts you need to unlock more skills I have not seen any other way that works. My only real issue so far is that the only way to really make money seems to be mining with the gem gloves. After getting through the basics, I started a second character in adventure mode, which sounded fun.
